As you leave Earth to the devastation that will inevitably consume it, you are left to ponder, what will you do to make all this death worth leaving behind. You jump aboard the Normandy, and fly away. Away from the murder, away from bodies, away from your friends. Away from your duty? You quickly fly to Mars to try and out run you conscience, will you succeed? We will see. During your stay on the red moon, you encounter some old friends, some of whom you may have fallen in love with previously, and some who you have be trained to hate during previous encounters. This encounter with him is no different. You are now not only trying to out run your conscience, but also a highly trained assassin.
Although you meet some old friends, you also lose some. Although some people may not have known this person for long, you feel a tug at your heart strings, as she is taken away to be taken to hospital. As you leave the red moon, you see more reaper ships landing on the planet, to reap the same destruction as they have planned on earth. You have now left two planets to burn behind you whilst you flee in a ship.
Your travels then take you to a country sized space station where you are tasked to be given you new orders. As you progress through this station, you are left to wonder, all these millions of people are safe; but for how long. Can I leave yet another assortment of races to die? Why should I flee, whilst the can not?
